Re: Halloween & FPIES

That is awesome! I think this year, since B is only 18 months old, we will just go to our relatives houses and I will have some pre-made bags for them to give her. And, once we get home, she will likely go to bed (bedtime is 7pm for her!!) and then I will take my 3yr old son out around the neighborhood. Great article Amanda!! =)

Re: Going Back to work?

I have my daughter in daycare. Communication is the best thing you can do! I sat down with the director and cook and we went over her safe foods and explained FPIES. She has a letter that accompanies her if needed to the ER. I went food shopping with the daycare for her and we created a menu so there is no confusion. She also sits at the head of the table with a teacher by her and no kid to the other sides(she's 15 mo) so she doesn't pick at the other kids food. It's worked out pretty well...

Going Back to work?

A parent asks: I am thinking about going back to work, wondering if anyone has tips on finding a child care provider, and how to not stress about trusting someone else to feed your child.
