Does she have a history of big delays in reactions? I might go with her history-- if she is prone to delays, maybe wait another day and see? If not, maybe watch it a little bit more closely and then move forward without increasing her serving? Again, like everyone always says, go with your gut. For my B, I might suspect teething or a crumb, based mostly on her age (molars coming in maybe? creating extra drool at night when sleeping?) but again, you have to go with your B's history--- what...
Thanks Amanda!! She has not had reactions this delayed before, that's why I was really considering it being possibly a crumb or teething! I'll let you know how the night goes! Hopefully good, because I'm TIIIRRRRED.
Sounds like a good plan. I know I should wait, but I get so excited to let him try things. So far he has passed EVERY food I have given him which is starting to give me confidence that he really is only going to be allergic to milk and soy. He started oatmeal cereal today that has gluten in it, so hopefully he will pas that too!
I love ice cream trials. They are truly the best. The kids look at you like "really?!" I hope that this remains a fun and successful trial!! My B will eat a bowl of coconut ice cream in solidarity for your B tomorrow!
I was thinking about starting a coconut trial on Matthew's 1st birthday with coconut sorbet...he doesn't react until day 4 or 5, so at least he'd get to enjoy it on his birthday! So glad this is working for you
Brynn had coconut for the first time on Wednesday. None Thursday or Friday. Last night she was up from 3-4:30am and woke up with a rash around her mouth? I have never seen that rash before by her mouth. I have no clue what is going on?...
