I had a champion eater until he threw up the other day...now we can't even trick him into opening his mouth for food (the tricks work a couple times, then he catches on and can't be tricked anymore).
We've tried tempting him with his paci, tempting him with a sippy cup, playing music for him, getting him to laugh, lettign him feed himself..none of it works more than a few bites worth Now he purses his lips for anything, and if he does open it to laugh he sticks his tongue up at the top so you can't get the spoon in.
Matthew is 8 months...what tricks do you use, and at what point would we need to bring someone in to help (like an Occupational Therapist)? Would an OT even be able to help?
