From Onespot Allergy: "DAIRY ALLERGY ALERT: Up And Up (Target brand) children's ibuprophen contains whey protein. Please share this link to alert your allergic friends"http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150298511100982.372912.325988945981&l=1819d47b3d
I "follow" other allergy awareness groups and last week there was a post about cinnamon being in Benedryl too.
Also, remember there are milk derivitives in some reflux meds.
Just reminders to read labels for hidden ingredients.
I can't open the link on my phone for some reason, but, is whey a NEW ingredient or has it always been in the Up and UP med?
Clarification, a fellow FPIES mom noticed this is the tablets (I hadn't noticed that- was just so focused on the reminder to check labels for hidden ingredients). She also pointed out that many tablets contain milk protein, so be careful (this was on the PIC FB site if you want to check it out).
I have been unable to find ibuprofen chewable tablets that do NOT have a milk product in them.
